Nampaknya dibutuhkan dana yang cukup mahal untuk bisa duduk dan menyantap makan malam bersama Obama. Ide spesial ini digagas oleh Chef Pascal Lorange dari Fig & Olive di Melrose Place, Hollywood, Amerika Serikat, untuk menggalang dana sosial.

Dikutip dari Hollywood Reporter, menjelang kedatangan Obama tersebut, pihak restoran membuka pendaftaran bagi siapa saja yang mau makan malam bersama sang presiden. Syaratnya tentu saja membayar US$ 17.900 atau sekitar Rp 161 juta untuk satu menu makanan.

Undangan makan malam ini terbuka untuk siapa saja, bahkan bagi yang ingin datang bersama pasangan atau bedua dengan rekan pun ada paket khusus yang diberikan pihak restoran, yaitu dengan biaya harga US$35.000. Tentunya paket makan malam ini bukan sekedar santap malam biasa, karena disini peserta bebas berbincang dan menyampaikan pertanyaan kepada Obama. Rencananya restoran akan mendatangkan Obama pada Senin (26/9) mendatang.

Restoran favorit selebritis ini terbilang restoran baru karena baru dibuka pada awal tahun ini. Namun karena tempatnya strategis dan sudah banyak dikunjungi selebritis dunia menjadikan namanya kian populer.
