Munawar Toha membuat permohonan yang emosional kepada masyarakat pada hari
Senin meminta bantuan untuk menemukan istrinya yang hilang. Saat ini, polisi mengatakan mereka memiliki rekaman pengamatan yang menunjukkan seorang pria yang cocok dengan deskripsi dari Toha sedang membuang tubuh istrinya itu. Munawar Toha kawin dengan istrinya pada tahun 2000 di Indonesia dan sekarang ada 2 anak laki.. Istrinya asal dari Jakarta.
Sersan Polisi Coral Springs JoeMcHugh mengatakan, “Apa yang anda lihat dalam video pengamatan tersebut sebenarnya seorang pria yang cocok dengan ciri-ciri tersangka yang sebenarnya sedang mengeluarkan sepeda dari bagasi mobilnya, untuk pulang ke rumah, dan mendorong mobilnya ke dalam danau. Pertama-tama anda melihat dia mendorong melewati pagar dan kemudian dia keluar dari mobil dan benar-benar mendorongnya ke dalam danau.”
Istri Munawar Toha, Surya Sari-Prihatin Toha (umur 41 tahun) ,menghilang pada tanggal23 Maret setelah dia mengantarkan anak-anaknya ke sekolah. Suaminya yang berusia 63 tahun melaporkan kehilangan istrinya tersebut hari berikutnya.
Polisi menemukan mobil Daewoo tahun 2001 miliki Surya di Danau Crystal dengan jasadnya di dalam mobil tersebut dan sebuah tas menutup kepalanya di hari yang sama Toha memohon bantuan dari masyarakat setempat. Berdasarkan hasil otopsi, Surya meninggal karena pukulan benda tumpul di kepala.
Polisi dari awal tertarik untuk menjadikan Toha sebagai tersangka utama, ujar Detektif Coral Springs Scott Myers . “Bahasa tubuhnya dan tingkah lakunya tidak konsisten dengan suami yang baru saja kehilangan istrinya.”
Pria Coral Springs tersebut ditangkap hari Selasa dan dituntut atas pembunuhan tingkat satu. Hakim menemukan alasan yang mungkin untuk menahan Toha hingga persidangannya.
Tindakan yg sangat brutal akibat cemburu yang tidak karuan. Kenapa tidak pisah saja seh ? Hukuman minimal seumur hidup kalaupun dihukum puluhan tahun green card / citizenship dicabut serta dideportasi oleh hukum federal. Bodoh !
